Are you a health professional with a special interest in treating scoliosis patients with bracing?

Bracing for scoliosis and kyphosis is supported by strong scientific evidence to prevent surgery, and in some cases improve curves. This online course is designed to provide health and medical professionals an introduction to scoliosis bracing and the prescription of bracing within an entire management approach.

It is the first step to understanding when bracing is an appropriate treatment recommendation for scoliosis and hyperkyphosis patients. It also explores the differences in the quality of different braces, and the factors that affect the chances of a successful treatment outcome.

The course follows on from our introductory course, the Essentials of Scoliosis Management. Completion of both introductory courses is a pathway to becoming a certified ScoliBrace Provider.

Level: Introductory
Cost: USD $199
Format: The course consists of online modules with some additional reading. All material is contemporary, and evidence based. Learners are required to complete all modules in order.
Assessment: Quiz questions in each module will measure important milestones in knowledge (90% pass rate required). Handout notes are provided.
CPD hours: You will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course confirming that you have completed 5 hours of continuing professional development (Please seek confirmation of your CPD requirements with your accrediting organisation).
Access: Once enrolled you have 3 months (90 days) access to the course.

  • Are considering becoming a Certified Scolibrace Provider to offer ScoliBrace services to patients in their clinic. This course serves as part the foundation knowledge for this certification and is a prerequisite to beginning the ScoliBrace certification pathway.
