- Do not shorten the Achilles tendon
- Are made from a comfortable, long lasting material
- Available in a slim version of women, children and narrow feet
Heel lifts can also aid in treating scoliosis cases when leg length or pelvic tilt is causing an imbalance in spinal alignment.
Research has shown that about 50% of the population have uneven leg length, but found that of the low back pain patients, 75% had leg length inequality of 5mm or more. (1)

Studies have also demonstrated that there can be a 75% reduction of low back, hip, and sciatic pain in the short leg cases of less than 10 millimetres by placing a lift under the short leg. (2)
