Who We Are
ScoliCare’s mission is to pioneer and deliver the world’s best scoliosis treatment through innovation, research and education.
At ScoliCare, we put patients at the center of everything we do. Our mission is simple: to find the right treatment at the right time – always with each patient’s best interests at heart.
We are a global team of clinicians, researchers, and support staff focused on scoliosis and hyperkyphosis care, united by:
- Compassion for every patient and their family
- Integrity in everything we do
- Commitment to delivering world-leading, evidence-based care
You’ll find these same values at every ScoliCare clinic around the world – and in every team member who walks this journey with our patients.

Our Story
It began with a simple belief: scoliosis care could be better.
Our founder, Dr. Jeb McAviney, saw too many patients facing uncertainty, limited options, and little support. He believed they deserved more – clearer answers, earlier scoliosis detection, and care that’s truly individualised.
In 2011, he opened the first ScoliCare clinic in Sydney, Australia. Since then, ScoliCare has grown into a global network of ScoliCare clinics, affiliate clinics, and trained brace providers, all built on the same vision: to improve access to high-quality, patient-centred scoliosis and hyperkyphosis care.
What We Do
We focus on delivering high-quality, non-surgical scoliosis and hyperkyphosis care. ScoliCare brings together everything patients and healthcare professionals need in one place:
- Dedicated scoliosis clinics and supportive care teams
- Evidence-based care supported by published research and years of clinical experience,
- Advanced 3D body scanning and custom scoliosis bracing (ScoliBrace®)
- Scoliosis-specific exercise rehabilitation (ScoliBalance®)
- Professional education and training for healthcare providers
At ScoliCare, we don’t just treat spines – we care for the people behind them.
What is Scoliosis?
Scoliosis is a progressive, lateral curvature of the spine. When viewed from the side, the spine should have curves. But when viewed from the front, the spine should be straight. Scoliosis can affect both children and adults.
