Dr. Chris Gubbels is a distinguished expert in the field of non-surgical scoliosis treatment, celebrated for his inventive approaches and extensive knowledge in spinal health.
Holding a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University, Dr. Gubbels boasts advanced certifications, including completion of the Scoliosis World Masters Course by ISICO and Board Certification as a Neuropathy Specialist. His proficiency extends to trauma management, with an Advanced Certification in Traumatology from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego.
Actively contributing to the scoliosis community, Dr. Gubbels publishes research papers, presents at international conferences, and conducts health workshops for global corporations. A dedicated member of professional organizations like SOSORT and the Colorado Chiropractic Association, he remains at the forefront of field advancements.
Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, he founded Square One Health and ScoliCare Denver, offering state-of-the-art non-surgical scoliosis treatments.

Danielle, a Colorado native, has always been passionate about athleticism and the outdoors. Her journey began in college, where as a collegiate softball player, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Driven by her fascination with the human body’s mechanics and performance enhancement, she attained a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation. With 10 years of experience as a dedicated Rehabilitation Therapist, Danielle possesses an extensive understanding of rehabilitation techniques and their impact on improving individuals’ quality of life. Beyond her role as a therapist, Danielle is a compassionate guide on the path to wellness. Whether coaching softball, hiking, paddle boarding, or exploring with her dog, she embraces every exciting opportunity Colorado offers. In the clinic, Danielle’s blend of expertise and empathy uplifts spirits and instils hope for a brighter future.

Emma is a board-certified Exercise Physiologist and Scoliosis Rehabilitation Therapist, holding both Level 1 and Level 2 (Advanced) certifications in ScoliBalance — a scoliosis-specific rehabilitation program designed to reduce pain, slow or stop curve progression, and improve posture. She is passionate and committed to creating personalized exercise programs based on
the uniqueness of every patient.
She earned her Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Northern
Colorado and her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Southwest Minnesota State University. Her clinical background includes cardiac and cancer exercise rehabilitation, expanding her knowledge and enriching her holistic approach to patient care. Emma is dedicated to helping individuals improve their health and quality of life through movement and
exercise.
Outside of work, Emma loves spending time outdoors, playing volleyball, and traveling with her husband and son.
