Terms and Conditions
You (the “Learner”) are required to consent to the terms and conditions of the ScoliCare training programs (“course”).
Upon registering for a training program with ScoliCare, you (“the learner”) are entering an agreement, which you agree to abide by the conditions of registration (including meeting stated payments), in exchange for the service offered by ScoliCare.
It is the learner’s responsibility to fully read, understand and agree to all registration Terms and Conditions, and fees and charges upon registration. By agreeing to these conditions, the learner confirms they possess a full understanding of all Terms and Conditions, and willingly accepts all such terms.
Course tuition payment
- Course tuition payment is required when enrolling in a ScoliCare course.
- Course tuition payment may include Government taxes, if applicable.
- The Learner agrees to provide the course tuition payment via the payment method made available by ScoliCare.
- ScoliCare does not refund course tuition payments, unless as specified herein.
Online course enrolment
- For online enrolments, course enrolment is complete when the Learner has been issued a username and password for the online platform, and access to the course has been granted.
- Course commencement is effective from the date access to the course is granted.
- Course expiration dates are clearly outlined on enrolment and will be adhered to.
- Course tuition costs are non-transferable.
- Course materials are provided online via our online learning platform (TalentLMS) 24/7. The online learning site may occasionally be unavailable during scheduled maintenance.
- Extensions to course access may be granted at the discretion of ScoliCare. Application for an extension must be submitted via email to the Training team – learn@scolicare.com.
- Once a Learner is enrolled in the course, no tuition refund is available.
- Use of, and access to the ScoliCare training platform is conditional upon acceptance of and compliance with the terms and conditions contained in this document.
- As a condition of use of the platform, you agree to not use the site or its content and materials for any unlawful purpose, or in any ways prohibited by these Terms and Conditions.
Face-to-face course enrolment
- For face-to-face courses, enrolment is complete when the Learner has registered and paid for the event, and confirmation received via email.
- Should your circumstances change and you are unable to attend the event, you must contact ScoliCare by no later than 30 days prior to the date of the event. If contacted within this timeframe, no cancellation fee will apply.
- Should you cancel less than 30 days prior to the commencement of the event, a cancellation fee of $50 will apply to cover costs incurred in relation to your registration. Alternatively, it may be possible to have the funds credited to a future event after discussion with ScoliCare.
- Should you cancel within 2 weeks of the commencement of the event, no tuition refund is available.
- Refunds will only be processed to the credit card or bank account of the individual, organisation or institution from which the payment was received. Credit card surcharges are non-refundable.
- Should an event be cancelled or postponed by ScoliCare due to unforeseen circumstances, ScoliCare will endeavour to process a full refund within 90 days of such circumstances becoming known. If you have any concerns or require clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us.
- Unfortunately, these seminars are not suitable for parents to bring children to as it can be distracting for the presenters and the other delegates. Please consider planning for babysitters if you are travelling with children.
Blended course enrolment
- A blended course is made up of both an online and face-to-face component. Learners are required to complete both components to be deemed as having completed the course.
- For blended courses, course enrolment is complete when the Learner has been issued a username and password for the online platform, and access to the course has been granted.
- Course commencement is effective from the date access to the course is granted.
- Course expiration dates for online components are clearly outlined on enrolment and will be adhered to.
- Course tuition costs are non-transferable.

- Use of, and access to the ScoliCare training platform is conditional upon acceptance of and compliance with the terms and conditions contained in this document.
- As a condition of use of the platform, you agree to not use the site or its content and materials for any unlawful purpose, or in any ways prohibited by these Terms and Conditions.
- Should your circumstances change, and you are unable to attend the face-to-face component of the course, you must contact ScoliCare by no later than 30 days prior to the date of the face-to-face days. If contacted within this timeframe, you will be able to transfer your attendance at the practical education days to a future event date.
- Should you cancel your attendance at the face-to-face days less than 30 days prior to the commencement of the event, you can request to transfer attendance at the practical education days to a future event date, although this is at the discretion of ScoliCare.
Online event
- For online events, registration is complete when the learner has been emailed confirmation of registration and provided instructional access details for the online platform where the event will be held.
- Should your circumstances change and you are unable to take part in the online event, you must contact ScoliCare by no later than midday (AEST/AEDT) the business day before the online event is scheduled to take place. If contacted within this timeframe, no cancellation fee will apply.
- Refunds will only be processed to the credit card or bank account of the individual, organisation or institution from which the payment was received. Credit card surcharges are non-refundable.
- Should an event be cancelled or postponed by ScoliCare due to unforeseen circumstances, ScoliCare will endeavour to process a full refund within 90 days of such circumstances becoming known. If you have any concerns or require clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us.
- The content of all online events, including copyright and all other such intellectual property rights contained therein, remain the property of ScoliCare. You may not reproduce any part of the online materials.
- Event content is subject to change.
Entry qualifications
- The Learner is responsible for satisfying ScoliCare’s minimum qualification requirement permitting entry into a course or event.

- Not satisfying the course minimum qualification requirements may result in the Learner being refused entry and, or not being eligible for a certificate upon course completion.
Course content
- The content of the course and all associated goodwill and intellectual property is the property of ScoliCare.
- You cannot video, record, copy, reproduce, amend, transmit or distribute course material.
- ScoliCare does not make any representation or warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, as to the accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness, of course content.
- When applying learnings from a ScoliCare course it is the Learners sole and absolute responsibility to ensure they adhere to all statutory, and industry insurance requirements, of the State in which the Learner is located.
- Course content is subject to change without notice.
Privacy
- ScoliCare is committed to protecting your privacy. We only use information we collect about you to maximize the services that we provide to you. For more information on this, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
- ScoliCare owns all rights, title, and interest in and to the proprietary trademarks, patents and goodwill associated with the course, including course content, programs, systems, subscriptions, and software (collectively referred to as the “ScoliCare IP”).
- The Learner agrees not to use the ScoliCare IP, its names, content, branding, marketing materials without ScoliCare’s express written consent.
- The Learner agrees not to copy, redistribute, or amend any course content, products, logos, videos, brochures, images, or other materials whatsoever provided by ScoliCare without ScoliCare’s express written consent.
- The Learner, nor any of its shareholders, principals, employers, employees, or other persons acting for or on behalf of the Learner, shall not directly nor indirectly contest the validity or ownership of the ScoliCare IP, nor will the Learner directly or indirectly, seek to register any ScoliCare IP or any similarly named or designed trademarks with any government agency.
- The Learner agrees to immediately execute all documents and do all things ScoliCare requires to give full force and effect to ScoliCare’s rights herein.
